Below is very important information from my Mom's dear friend, Kathleen and Aidan's Army. You can help the fight against pediatric cancer by checking a simple box on your tax return. Yes, it really is that simple. In honor of Aidan....and Donna...and Leah, who lost their fight, and for those who are still fighting, please consider helping out a very important cause near and dear to our hearts. Thank you! Illinois Childhood Cancer Research Fund We are proud to be a part of this new initiative and we are asking for your support. As of tax year 2012, Illinois income tax payers can donate a portion of their expected refund to go directly to a newly established fund that grants dollars to pediatric cancer research. For the fund to be maintained, we need a minimum of $100,000 in donations, so we are working hard to get the word out in support of Illinois children with cancer. Please share and tell your friends and family to donate $1 or more of their expected income tax refund. The checkbox can be found under Charitable or Voluntary Donations (Schedule G) of the 2012 Illinois State Income Tax return. Please help us spread the word of this new intiative and share this information with your friends. You can help make a difference in the life of a child with cancer.
