theater loving weekend......

Although my family really enjoys going to plays and live shows, this past weekend took the cake! On Friday, I went to see Shrek! the musical in Naperville with my Dad. The reason we went was because my guitar instructor extraordinaire, Mr. Brown, was playing in the orchestra and he invited us to go. It was a really good show!!! Saturday we got to dance...dance...dance...or pretend like we were, when we went downtown with our awesome friends to see Savion Glover make magic with his feet! Sunday we were back downtown for Emerald City, "the real story of the 3 little pigs". It was one of my favorites! And we did make some time in between to go to a celebratory dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, the Rainforest Cafe. Let's just say a certain someone is not sucking her thumb anymore. WOO!! HOO!!!!
